Leslie Melton passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 61 years.
Leslie will be missed and lovingly remembered by her sister, Anne Lang; nieces and nephew, Robyn Lang, Richard Lang and Ayessa Lang; as well as great nieces and nephews, Graydon Sheardown, Khaila Tersona, Khim Tersona, Jakob Lang, Kayleigh Lang. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Melton; father, David Ewing; mother, Carole Ewing; brother, Robert Ewing and stepmother, Marilyn Turner.
Leslie Melton born August 17, 1961 in Billings Montana. Leslie attended school in many states including a few years in Calgary before returning with her parents to Texas. Leslie attended Texas State University in Environmental Studies. She worked primarily for various Indian bands. She was married to Michael Melton who predeceased her. She loved music in particular the Dave Matthews Band and enjoyed her league bowling with friends from the community. She also spent enjoyable times out camping with good friends. She is survived by her sister Anne, niece Robyn, Nephew Richard, great nieces Khaila, Khim and Kayleigh and her great nephews Graydon and Jakob.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Leslie’s memory to Calgary Humane Society.
