Leonida Casildo Tabigne
April 22nd, 1928 – September 17th, 2022
Our beloved mother Leonida (Leoning) passed peacefully on Sept 17, 2022, and went to be with the Lord. She is survived by her loving son Bal (Eden) their children Desiree and John, son Juanito in the Philippines and daughter Rosa, her son Joker and daughter Sumarmie from NY. Known as Lola to her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren in NY and the Philippines. She was predeceased by her husband Francisco and 7 children. Lola will be missed dearly by her loving family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends in Rosales Pangasinan Philippines and her friends in Calgary.
Leonida emigrated to Calgary in 2013, lived and was cared for by Bal, Eden, Desiree and John until her passing. She was known to be a hardworking, kind mother who made many sacrifices to raise her 10 children as a young widow in the Philippines. A faithful believer of Jesus and devoted to her own family.
We would like to thank our Home Care Case Manager of Calgary South AHS, and staff of CBI Health, the kind staff at the Foothills Country Hospice, who took excellent care of our Mom.
A Memorial Service will be held on September 24th, at 1 p.m,
at Immanuel Church, 1512, 1st Street SW, Calgary
