It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kevin Anthony Sampietro on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the age of 53. Kevin was born on October 16, 1968, to Anthony (Tony) and Marie Sampietro in Edmonton, Alberta.

Kevin is survived by his loving partner, Lorraine Benham; children, Jesse and Charlotte Sampietro; mother, Marie Sampietro; sisters, Cheryl (Rick) Yakymyk and Lynn (George) Kovacs; niece, Shae-Lyn Yakymyk; nephews, Braedyn Yakymyk and Brandon Kovacs as well as numerous other family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony Peter Sampietro; grandfathers, Peter Sampietro and Louis Hamelin; grandmothers, Irene Schirrmacher and Jenny (Eugenie) Hamelin; and step grandfather, Art Schirrmacher.

As per Kevin’s wishes, recognition of his life will be celebrated privately with immediate family and close friends.
