Kelly Andrew Zwarych
July 28, 1968 - August 21, 2022

Kelly Zwarych beloved husband of Jill Zwarych of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at the age of 54 years.

He was the loving father of daughters, Taylor and Jordan, and son Luke.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Dennis (Susan), Terry (Oksanna), Darrell (Shauna), and Kristal (Kevin); nieces and nephews, Tricia (Anthony), Meghan (Brian), Ivanna (Chris), Marco (Joleen), Spencer, Madison, Liam, and Matthew; along with several great nieces and nephews; as well as extended family, mother-in-law, Jeanette; Dan (Susan), Mark (Anita), Laura (Greg), Leanne, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Joanne (Bob) life partner. As well as numerous friends. Kelly joins his father, Steve; mother, Joyce; brother, Darius; and sister, Joanne.

Kelly was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. During his high school years, he played football, hockey, and lacrosse. Throughout his entire life Kelly had a passion for sports and the outdoors, he passed this love onto his children. In 1991 he moved to Calgary and attended ACAD and received a diploma in visual arts. Kelly met his wife Jill in the summer of 1990, they married September 1994. They had their first daughter Taylor, June 1999, daughter Jordan, March 2001, and son Luke, February 2004.

Kelly’s passions were reflected in his professional life, he founded KAZAK Group of Companies, EnergyLab, and AeroLab. Through these companies Kelly had great influence on the sports technology and cycling worlds.

Kelly completed many triathlons, including 7 full distance Ironman’s.

Kelly will be remembered as goofy, adventurous, kind-spirited, and a family man. His children meant the world to him.

The family would like to thank the medical team at the Tom Baker Cancer Center, Doctor Safiya Karim, and Nurse Sandra. As well as Audra and Dean with the Palliative Pain and Symptoms team, and the palliative home care nurses with Alberta Health Services.

Kelly will be greatly missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. A bike around Glenmore Reservoir and Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.
