Kathleen was a kind and loving person to everyone. If you had a conversation with her, you didn’t leave without a hug and a smile. She put everyone first, before anything she needed. She loved planting her flowers every summer and watching them grow into a beautiful garden. She loved going to the market and selling. She could sell like no one else. She made so many friends at the market, customers and vendors alike. There was no one who met Mom that didn’t walk away feeling loved by Mom.

Gary, her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren were everything to her. She always looked forward to seeing them and talking to them on the phone. Christmas was her favorite season and she loved getting together and playing games. She was the most faithful person you could ever know.

Dreams relayed from a trusted friend….
I dreamt about your mom two days ago and I had a conversation with her. She kept saying how beautiful it was where she was and that she wanted to stay. I kept telling her she had to come back and spend a little more time and she kept laughing and saying “it’s just so beautiful here” and I said to her “you need to come back, Gary needs you”. She said “okay ya, Gary, ya I’ll be back” and she was laughing with her cute laugh. She said “okay, I’ll be back, but it’s just so beautiful here”.

Then last night I dreamt about her again and she said she wasn’t coming back. Her body was too destroyed and where she was is just so beautiful. She was just so happy in my dream.

WEEP NOT FOR ME (by an Unknown Author)
Weep not for me though I have gone
Into that gentle night
Grieve if you will, but not for long
Upon my soul’s sweet flight

I am at peace, my soul’s at rest
There is no need for tears
For with your love I was so blessed
For all those many years

There is no pain, I suffer not
The fear is now all gone
Put now these things out of your thoughts
In your memory I live on

Remember not my fight for breath
Remember not the strife
Please do not dwell upon my death
But celebrate my life
