Judith Irene Argento
June 4, 1946 – October 2, 2020
Judith (Judi) Irene Argento, passed away peacefully at the age of 74 after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, October 2, 2020 with family by her side.
Judi is survived by her two children, Nikolas (Nel) Argento and Claire (Neel) Raniga-Argento; her three grandchildren, Aliya, Kailash, August-Jude; and her brother, Peter (Linda) Patterson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dario Argento; her parents, Roy and Claire Patterson; and her brother, William (Bill) Patterson.
Judi was an avid scrapbooker and lover of animals. While she thoroughly enjoyed making cards, we believe she took even more pleasure in the shopping and purchasing of the supplies! She was kind, compassionate and so very generous. She rescued and fostered numerous stray cats over the years – with most of the cats making a forever home with her. Judi was notorious for unannounced drop in visits, usually bringing over some item she felt you just had to have. She loved watching Blue Jay games while on the phone with her mother in Nova Scotia and had been a Raptors fan for over 20 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Judi’s memory to Foothills Country Hospice Society.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Due to Covid-19, we will have a live stream available for all other family and friends to join.
