Tribute to Pastor (Professor) Olawuyi
Pastor Olawuyi was loving, caring, passionate, humble and wise.
As our first Pastor at ECWA CHAPEL Ibadan, My family & I enjoyed his spiritual leadership and pastoral care.
He gave his time, money and resources to serve other people. First Pastor that I know gave to His congregation instead of receiving from them.
He demonstrated true love and dedication and was never too busy to attend to even the least of us.
His family, wife (mummy) and children are supportive and upright. He opened his door for youth and student executive meetings at midnight even when it was not convenient.
Daddy as we fondly call him was interested in every aspect of our lives just as a father to His biological children. He has been my recommender since 1998 till date and was never tired of writing the best recommendation anytime I need it.
He preached on my wedding day almost 20 years ago & I can still remember what he said. His focus was family unity.
He followed my family since then and would call us and pray for us.
We become one big family when my youngest brother married one of his daughters. It is like we have been together for ages.
We will all miss you Daddy. Mummy, the children and grand children will miss you. You will ever remain in our memories.
We love you but God loves you more. Sleep on till we meet and part no more. Adieu Pastor Olawuyi till the glorious morning of the saints of God
