Joan Katherine Rebstock
Joan Katherine Rebstock passed away suddenly on Friday, March 27, 2020 at the age of 66. She was born on August 23, 1953 in Lethbridge, Alberta to Joann and Herbert Donaldson. She was a teacher’s aide and librarian for the Separate School Board until 2014. Joan married Henry Rebstock in 1974 and after retirement, enjoyed more time with family and her pets. She was always popular at the local dog park where every dog came up for a visit and she knew every dog’s name and their life story.
Joan will be missed and forever remembered by her loving husband, Henry; her daughter, Joann Katherine Kozai; her son in law, Hiroki Kozai and her granddaughter, Hana Kozai. She will also be missed by her many friends and dog friends from the McKnight Dog Park. She is predeceased by her mother, Joann and father, Herbert.
A private family Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will take place later.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan’s memory to Calgary Humane Society
