November 11th, 1946 - February 10th, 2020
Joan Hall went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Monday, February 10th, 2020 at the age of 73. Joan will be dearly missed by her husband Bob; son Wade Hall; daughters Ashley (Jon) Shaw and Kaley (Jeff) Herman; seven grandchildren Jessica, Rebbecca, Bria, Camden, Carsen, Hadley and Corban; sister Phyllis (Len) Girling; and brother Don Friske. She was predeceased by her parents Daisy and Otto Friske; and brother Doug Friske.
Joan was born in Deer Ridge, SK and grew up on a farm in McDowell, SK. She moved to Calgary to pursue hairdressing and met and married Bob in 1979. Joan was active in her church and enjoyed attending bible study and socializing with the ladies at the church. You would never see Joan without her hair and makeup on. She enjoyed cooking and loved her family – especially her grandkids. She will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Joan’s life will be held at McKenzie Towne Church (7 McKenzie Towne Gate SE) on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
