Obituary for Jeffrey Patrick Koke (Koke)

Jeffrey Koke
August 13, 1980 - December 14, 2022

Jeffrey Koke, beloved husband and dad, passed away on December 14, 2022 surrounded by the love of his family after a lengthy and courageous cancer journey.

Jeff was born and raised in Calgary, AB. From a young age, Jeff had an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for technology. He built a career with those aspects at the centre. Jeff also enjoyed working on a project, with hobbies that included gardening, building, technology and cooking (he was an amazing chef!).

Nearly 16 years ago, he met the love of his life, Steph. It was an instant connection, love at first sight. Perfect for one another, they married in 2008. Together they built a beautiful life together at 'the Farm' with their daughters, Sloan and Hadley. Jeff was an amazing husband and the best dad, putting his love and energy into his family, his greatest sense of pride and joy.

Enduring an eight-year cancer journey, his strength, courage and bravery held no bounds. During this time, he became a member of the Living with Cancer group through The Sage Centre / Hospice Calgary. The group had a life-changing impact on Jeff and his family, and in turn he also had an incredible impact on those involved with the group. In the words of one of his dear friends from Group, "To know him, is to love him". Our family cannot thank Sage Centre, Hospice Calgary and Rosedale Hospice enough for their support throughout these difficult times.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie and beautiful daughters, Sloan and Hadley; his dad, Dennis (Sandra); brother, Danny (Cassandra); sister, Megan (Jack); nieces & nephews, Noah, Wyatt, Alida, Lincoln & Nova, Aunts & Uncle, mother-in-law Pat, and many dear friends. Jeff is predeceased by his Mom, Anne and father-in-law, Art.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Calgary.

'If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart. I'll stay there forever.' - A.A. Milne

Jeffrey will forever and always be in the hearts of those who love him.
