Obituary for Jeffrey Peter "Jeff" Kobsar
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Peter Kobsar, who passed away peacefully with Dawn by his side, on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the age of 61 years. Jeffrey was born April 22, 1962, to Elaine and Wilmer in Calgary, Alberta. He was the middle of three boys who were all into classic vehicles.
He spent his entire working career as an automotive technician. He also fully restored two vehicles during that time. Jeffrey and Dawn had known each other for a few years and decided to ‘give it a go’ in December of 1994 and they never looked back. In 2002, they moved to their acreage, where he enjoyed the yard work, and all the tinkering to keep himself busy.
He had many good friends throughout the years with whom he shared quite a few BudLight’s. Jeff fought a courageous battle since being diagnosed with cancer in January 2020. He encountered many obstacles but thrived to enjoy more time with his family. He leaves us with many precious memories to enjoy and share.
Jeff is survived by his best friend and partner of 28 years, Dawn Williams; stepchildren, Billie (Chris) and Jesse; grandchildren, Amera (Brandyn), Fiore, and Luca; great grandson, Blake; his mother; Elaine; brothers, Bill (Pat) and Dean (Carrie); nephew, Jordan and nieces, Calyn and Jaden. He was predeceased by his father, Willie.
