Obituary for Jeffrey Warren England

England, Jeffrey Warren

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeffrey Warren England on Monday, August 17th, 2020, in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 45.

Jeff was a loving son, brother, and uncle. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents, Warren and Shirley England of St. John's, NL ; sister, Michele (Shawn) Stanley of Mt. Pearl, NL; sister, Tammy England (Kurt Tobin) of Calgary, AB.; nieces, Sarah and Megan Stanley; Abigail England, and nephew, Warren England. Also left to mourn a large circle of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many, many good friends across the country from Newfoundland to British Columbia. Predeceased by his grandparents, Hedley and Caroline Spurrell (Badger’s Quay, NL) and Walter and Isabel England (St. John's, NL).

"Jeff" as he was known to us all, was born in St. John's, Newfoundland on December 7, 1974, where he grew up with his family and later in life moved to Alberta following his career in sales and marketing. Jeff had a love for both curling and bowling and made many friends in both leagues. He was also passionately involved in the political community and had many close associates.

Jeff was a kind and gentle soul who will always be remembered for his warm smile, crazy antics, and restless spirit. He was a force to be reckoned with and his fun loving, friendly, charismatic ways will be forever missed. "Keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars.”

A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held in Calgary on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Arrangements will then be made for Jeff’s Urn to return home to Newfoundland for burial, details of an opportunity to pay your respects in Newfoundland will be provided at a later date.

For the Celebration in Calgary, there is limited seating available due to restrictions on the number of people that can attend social gatherings. As we are also required to provide a guest list with contact information of attendees, we are asking that you to please email Tammy (t.england@shaw.ca) if you would like to attend the Calgary service in person. We will also be hosting the Calgary service via Zoom, details below.

Due to Covid restrictions we are unable to offer you to personally share a few words or a story during the service. However, Rev.
