So sad to hear about your passing Jean. Watch over your loved ones.
Thank you for creating such memories when we were kids — the watermelon eating contest. For baking those cookies with alcohol in them that everyone loved so much. For being there for my mom. & for offering to pay my speeding ticket that I was scared to tell my mom about even though she found out and made me pay it anyway. You lived a long life with many happy memories, ones that now other people will cherish for you. Rest In Peace.

I’m going to miss our laughs Jean! You and I definitely had a few! Gardening in my yard while I was sweating and you asking why I was sweating and you were doing all the bull work! You dug some purple irises for your daughter’s cabin. We had a wine dipped skinny cigar and a few Heineken afterwards. Thanks for the memories I will cherish. That huge *ss salmon you two brought over from Vancouver Island and we barbecued in our driveway with the neighbours. So much fun on our crescent with the usual crew sitting in lawn chairs while the kids played outside. Great times. My brother painting and you commissioned him for two pieces, one without the pallet knife. The laughs we had over that waterfall painting. Your generosity will never be forgotten. You donated your art supplies so my brother could give art lessons in my garage for the kids on our crescent. You were one well dressed lady. Hair and makeup always done. Hard worker, fantastic cook and pro gardener. Most of all a great friend. Thanks for the trips to the farmers market and the Saskatoon berry farm. Never forgotten, Jean. Your cherished twin daughters and grandson will have you in their hearts forever. Thanks for the great ride in a friendship spanning over twenty years. Colleen Drolet.
