Obituary for James Aubry Sharlow
James "Jim" Sharlow
December 19th, 1958 - August 22nd, 2019
Calgary, Alberta
Jim was the beloved father of Lisa (Chris), David, Michael, Jeremy (Brianna), Kelsey. He leaves behind his grandchildren Logan, Hayden and Brendan and a granddaughter on the way; sister Laura (Batista); brothers Roy and Norman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear lifelong friends. Jim was predeceased by his father David and mother Marie.
Jim loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids. They meant the world to him. Jim always wanted to drive truck just like his dad and did so for several years until he just got too sick. He was a great mechanic. His hobby was to build model trucks and cars, and all he really wanted to do was drive his beloved Jeep.
We would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at the Foothills Hospital, Unit 64 at McCaig Tower for taking such good care of him.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jim's name to the Kidney Foundation or the Alberta Children’s Hospital. A family celebration will be held at a later date.
