It is with a heavy heart and overwhelming sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son and brother, James Ngbede Ocholi.
On the morning of Tuesday, February 4, 2020, James, aged 24, was involved in a fatal car accident on his way to work.
Those who loved James know that he was a selfless soul and an exceptional human being with a volunteering spirit. He was a great athlete and an amazing dancer, and often used his talent to bless and entertain others. A child at heart, he could bring laughter into the sullenest of rooms and he reminded us every day, that life is too short to take yourself too seriously.
He is survived by his parents, his brothers and sisters, his niece and nephew, a wide net of relatives, and a great number of friends who were drawn to his beautiful personality. We remember him by his lovely smile, his contagious, unrelenting, playful attitude, and the undeniable ways in which loving him has changed our lives. We give gratitude to the Almighty God for a life well lived.
A Service of Songs/Wake will be held on Saturday, February 8, 5pm, at Dalhousie Community Association (5432 Dalhart Road NW Calgary, T3A 1V6) and a Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday February 9, 4pm (viewing at 3pm), at the same location.
