James Melville Campbell was born on July 4, 1928 in London, England. It is with great sadness his family shares the news of his passing on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at the age of 92.
He was surrounded by his loving family, at home, near the beautiful garden where he spent so many hours with his hands in the dirt and the warmth of the sun on his head.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Mary; his daughters, Debby (Warren), Wendy (Bernie), Brenda (Jock) and Jenny (Terry); his nine grandchildren, Kyle, Laura, Pamela, Matthew, Travis, Rebecca, Tyler, Jesse and Jorden; one great granddaughter, (Heyden); as well as his sister, Jean and brother, Clive in England. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Jim lovingly passed on to his family his sense of humour, love of gardening, importance of family, creativity and sense of fairness.
In keeping with his wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers and in keeping with dad’s passion: plant a garden; sit in a garden; enjoy a garden.
