It is with deep sadness that the family shares that Holly Rosemary Moore Craig became an angel on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the young age of 52.
Holly was born in Kindersley, SK and moved to Calgary, AB as a baby. She spent many summers in Kindersley with her Grandparents and brother, Kelly and their friends taking swimming lessons and attending summer camps. As a child Holly was full of energy and spirit. There was never a dull moment when she was around with her bright smile and cute pigtails and curls. Holly excelled in everything she did. She competed in dancing, swimming, gymnastics, and figure skating and has medals in all. She loved sports and played softball for many years and won City championships many times with her brother Kelly as assistant coach. She also played slo-pitch with her brother.
Holly graduated from Sir Winston Churchill High School and continued to college to become a legal secretary. She went to work at Varsity Execucenter with Chris Bolt, a man who became a dear friend, for several years. She had deep respect and love for him. Once her boys were born, she moved to Sutton Group joining her mom for nine years. She then went to Ramage Realty and then moved to Remax Mountainview where she worked for several years as part of the administration team until her passing.
Holly had a passion for life and lived it fully while devoted to her family and especially her two boys. Holly's biggest enjoyment was watching Kyle and Justin play lacrosse and watching them both win gold medals at the Alberta Summer Games. Her boys were her world.
Holly had many friends and they have remarked on her big heart, feistiness, curly hair and bright smile. She had great one-liners, taking after her Dad. Holly's boyfriend, Geoff, talks about her love of animals, especially cats, elephants, penguins, and her love of the Saskatchewan Roughriders (her Riders) and devotion to her boys. He says her heart was too big for her body. She loved to see people happy.
We hope that Heaven has popcorn, pink lemonade, raspberries, tacos, ketchup, cucumbers, dill pickles and ice cream for her enjoyment.
Holly's love for her family and friends was immeasurable. Holly was our ray of sunshine and now flies with the angels.
Holly leaves to mourn her parents, Barry and Judith Moore; her brother, Kelly Moore; her sons, Kyle and Justin Craig; her nephew, Bret Moore; her Aunt Rosemary Stevens; her cousins, Patricia and Jeffrey Stevens; and her boyfriend, Geoff Beck.
Holly's family is slowly processing her loss and the huge hole left in our lives.
There will be a Celebration of Holly’s Life at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Holly’s name to
Cochrane Humane Society.
