On Thursday June 2, 2022, Herbert Arthur (Turo) Ziadie was called home at the age of 87. The world has lost a great husband, father, brother and leader.

Turo was born in Kingston, Jamaica on November 11, 1934. He moved to Calgary, Alberta with his wife Karen and their loving dogs in December 2008.

If you asked Turo what his greatest accomplishment was, it wasn’t his global contribution to the golfing industry, it was being a husband, father and grandfather. He has left behind his 3 sons, Anthony, Phillip and Stephen. He met his wife Karen and it was love at first sight. That love grew to also include Karen’s young children, Lee-Ann (Robert) Maria (Tim) Jodie (Raymond) and Craig (Simi) and in later years their children, Kaylee, Aliana, Madison, Zander, Milah, Ethan, Ellie, Joseph and Luna. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Please join Turo’s family for a celebration of life on Tuesday June 7, 2022 at 11:00 am. The service will be held at Ascension Parish Church - 1100 Berkshire Blvd NW, Calgary, Alberta, T3K 3M3.

Please join the family immediately after for a light lunch and refreshments at 42 Evanspark Heights NW.

His ashes will be taken to Jamaica as per his wishes, at a later date.
