Herb passed away on Thursday December 3, 2020 peacefully at the Dulcina Hospice in Calgary. He was born to Rubin Sydney and Rachel Twittey. Herb will be remembered by many for his volunteering with the Calgary Stampede Show Band and the Calgary Stampede for over 40 years as well as many other organizations. Herb is lovingly survived by his sons, Bob Twittey, Jonathan Dick (Silvana); daughters, Heather Offet (Kris), Marg Twittey (Marj Wilson); his 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Herb was predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret; parents and siblings. The family wishes to thank Dulcina Hospice for the exceptional care he was given.
Funeral Services will be held at Choice Memorial on Friday December 11, 2020 @ 2:00 pm. Due to Covid-19, family members only are able to attend.
If so desired, memorial tributes in Herb's honour may be made to Dulcina Hospice via St. Marguerite Manor & Dulcina Hospice - Covenant Care.
