June 20, 1942 – July 19, 2022
Born on June 20, 1942 in Wolfville, Nova Scotia to Avon & Phyllis Miner, and moved to Alberta in the 60s. She lived in Banff for a number of years, before calling Calgary home. Later in life she married (2013) and moved to Nanaimo for a brief time, before returning to Calgary.
Helen passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at the Bethany Care Centre in Calgary. It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our aunt, sister and friend.
She will be lovingly missed by her brothers, sisters and many nieces & nephews. Helen was predeceased by her husband, Wes; parents, Avon & Phyllis Miner; brothers, Murray, George, Lovett, Arnold and Blake; and sister, Verna.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
