Dawn Van der Schyff
June 3rd, 1936 - July 16th, 2022
Dawn Van der Schyff passed away on Saturday, July 16th, 2022 at the age of 86.
Dawn will be forever loved and remembered by her daughter Marilyn (Michael) Penny of Strathmore; son Neville Norris of Nelspruit, South Africa; grandchildren Bianca-Dawne (Eric), Tristan (Angela) and Rhett (Andrea); and great-grandchildren Fred, Thea, Ryleigh and Adrianna.
She was predeceased by her parents Fred and Maxi Sargent; and her brother and sister-in-law Freddy and Paddy.
Dawn was born in Southern Rhodesia. She nursed early on in life, but eventually found her calling as an auditor for the Rhodesian Government. She was there for 28 years. Dawn lived her faith and was not afraid at the end.
As per Dawn’s request, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dawn may be made to Wheatland Crisis Society Strathmore Shelter.
