Frederick “Ross” Livesey
April 8, 1948 - May 28, 2022

Ross Livesey, of Calgary, Alberta, passed away at Rockyview General Hospital on May 28, 2022 at the age of 74 years.

Ross was the loving father of Jason and Jacqueline Livesey, Ric and Stephani Drinnan and Tammy and Wayne Megli. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Nicolas, Rebecca, Keenan, Kenadi, Bryton, Bindi, Kobe, Andrea and Eric. Siblings: Gail and Barry, Val and George, and Dawn and Fred, nieces and nephews. Ross was predeceased by: Frederick George (father), Dorothy Mabel (mother).

Ross was born in Flin Flon, Manitoba. He played hockey for the Flin Flon Bombers. In the early 70’s he moved to Princeton, B.C where he worked as a butcher.

Ross married Ruby and became stepfather to Ric and Tammy, and later father to Jason. They moved to Merritt B.C. and obtained work at the Highland Valley Copper Mine. Eventually he became a volunteer Firefighter and later a Paramedic for the B.C Ambulance Service.

Ross moved to the Okanagan to continue his paramedic career and retired in 2003. He took part in the Wendy’s Make A Wish Foundation as the attending paramedic to Disneyland. He was a member of the Eagles, Elks, and Legion. He enjoyed camping and travelling throughout the Okanagan and Northwest U.S.
