1941-2020
Fred W. Bard, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital in Calgary, Alberta.
Fred was born to Elwood and Lottie Bard on September 27, 1941 in Kitwanga, British Columbia. Fred loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, he loved to draw, and he loved to tell his grandchildren stories. He was very talented at building things.
Fred is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sharon; his children, Alwood Bard, Ken Bard, Kathy Bard, and Susan Robinson (Shawn Johnson); his grandchildren, Andrew Bard, Jason Bard, Joesph Bard, Cathy Taylor, Brian Taylor, Kirsten Bard, Tyra Robinson and Mya Robinson; his sister, Marlene Peirce; niece, Donna Peirce and family, and nephew, Cliff Peirce and family.
He will be deeply missed, we are relieved he is at peace
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred’s memory to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
