Francis Wallace
April 22nd, 1952 - October 28th, 2022
Francis William Wallace, 70, of Calgary AB passed away peacefully on October 28 2022 after a long battle with cancer. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, dad was always laughing and joking, saying life was too short to be miserable.
Frank grew up in Ontario and moved to Calgary in 1978. A lifelong mechanic, he had a passion for cars - his baby was a ’51 Pontiac Catalina that he restored and showed off to everyone. He loved his children Lee (Melainie), Tammy (Jesse) and Nikki (Tommy) and grandchildren, Trenton, Connor, Carter, Kayla (Kade) and Tabitha (Boyd) and 1 great grandchild, Sereniti very much.
We were fortunate to have dad's sister Wendy (Jim) come and comfort him until the end. He will rest in peace with his beloved wife Phyllis.
Over the years Frank maintained wonderful relationships with his extended family. He left this world with many fond memories of those that he loved so much.
He was surrounded by those who loved him very much both in person and in spirit. We will be holding a celebration of life sometime in the spring.
