It is with broken hearts that we, the family of Fabian Alexander Ward, announce the passing of our favourite dad, son, and brother in Calgary, AB at the age of 39. Fabian, formerly of Dominion, Nova Scotia, was taken from us suddenly on Tuesday, April 21, 2020.
Fabe (AKA Greasy) will always be remembered as a kind-hearted, caring soul who loved to make people smile and laugh. He was an eternal optimist, to know Fabe was to love him.
Fabian was always handy and loved to help people. His work as a stonemason brought him so much pride and joy.
But nothing gave him as much joy as his children, Phineaus and Aurora, and their much-beloved mom, Marnie. He spoke of them with so much praise and love. "My sun, my moon, and my stars," as he used to say.
Sadly, Fabian leaves behind his beloved Phineaus, Aurora. Also, his loving parents, Roy and Linda (MacNeil) Ward (Dominion, Nova Scotia) and his two favorite sisters, Tammy (Frank) Ward-Mercuri of Edmonton and Donna (Brian) McMahon of Calgary.
Fabe's love for his family and our love for him cannot be overstated. He will be sorely missed by countless aunts, (especially his favorite Aunt Patsy) uncles, cousins, and friends.
Cremation in care of Choice Memorial Cremation and Funeral Service. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date under the instruction of T.J Tracey Cremation & Burial Specialists (370 Reserve Street, Glace Bay, NS).
