Elaine Elizabeth Julia Johnson
February 15, 1938 – July 17, 2022
Elaine Johnson of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022 at the age of 84.
Elaine was born in Lefleche, Saskatchewan and was raised on a farm with her seven siblings in Melaval, Saskatchewan.
As an adult, Elaine moved to Calgary to start a life of her own. She tried a few different jobs in her early years but settled into a career at AGT/TELUS, where she remained until her retirement.
She married in 1961 and had one child. A son, whom she loved and cherished throughout her life.
When Elaine wasn’t busy with family and friends, she loved to pass her time listening to music on her computer, reading, knitting, and watching sports. Some of her favorite teams were the Blue Jays, Calgary Flames, and the Calgary Stampeders.
Elaine had a heart of gold. She was a beautiful person inside and out and was loved by all who knew her. She will sadly be missed but never forgotten.
Elaine Is lovingly remembered by her son, Ken (Donna); siblings, Donald (Madeline), Gerald (Lucille) and her sister whom she was very close to, Carol (Bob), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Julia Walters (nee Huber); siblings, Louise (Ralph), Robert (Diane), Roger (Shirley) and Gary (Jean).
