Edith Emerline Dech, age 95, born March 27, 1926 loving mother of six, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Edith always had a passion for the more beautiful things in life which included her love for music the outdoors and most importantly family, which always came first. Edith enjoyed being near the water’s edge and music which brought out her infectious smile that made everyone around her feel loved, those moments will be greatly missed by her entire family.

Edith is survived by her daughters, Karen Dech and Wendy (John) Darby; sons, Wayne (Colleen) Dech, Rob Dech, and Trevor (Lanchi) Dech; daughter-in-law, Shirley Dech; as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Dech.

Special thanks to the nurses and staff at AgeCare Walden Heights in Calgary, Alberta; and her daughter, Karen, whom spent her time caring for Edith and providing unconditional love and care.
