Obituary for Dustin Daniel Zackowski

Dustin Zackowski
October 30th, 1988 - Friday, June 14th, 2019

With deepest sorrow we announce that Dustin Daniel Zackowski passed away suddenly on Friday, June 14, 2019 at the age of 30. Our most beloved son, brother, father and friend. Dustin was born in Brandon, Manitoba on October 30, 1988. He lived most of his life in Alberta, however, BC is the province that held his heart! He resided in Calgary, AB at the time of his passing.

Many of Dustin’s passions involved the great outdoors; quadding, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, hiking, long boarding, surfing, and wakeboarding to name a few! He excelled at all of these. Of all sports endeavors, Dustin was most known for his wakeboarding. In 2004, Dustin as a 15 year old competed on the national stage going head-to-head with his 18 year old peers. He finished 7th in the Wake Skate event. If there were a mountain to climb, he would climb it! Dustin had a need for speed, big air, and the outdoors. Dustin enjoyed all activities even more when they were spent with his family. His love and admiration for his Mother, Father, two brothers, and his son ran deep.

Dustin was an accomplished Tile Setter whose artistic impression and attention to detail are appreciated by many throughout Alberta and BC! Everything Dustin did, he did well, with his heart and soul to the extremes.

Dustin is survived by his son, Axel Jade; of Creston BC. He will be missed every day by his mother, Jacqueline; his father, Kevin; his two brothers, Wyatt and Jesse; all of Calgary, AB.

The Family of Dustin invites you to join them in Celebration of his life!
