1927-2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Broomfield announce her passing on June 5 2021. Dorothy Alvina (nee Berze) Broomfield age 93 passed away peacefully at Brentwood Nursing home.
She was born September 11, 1927 to Frank and Alvina Berze, Calgary Alberta. The eldest of four children, Alan (deceased) and Joyce Berze, Patricia Cole and Robert (Bob) Berze. She was predeceased by her husband Len Broomfield.
Dorothy spent most of her life in Calgary; although, lived in California for many years. She enjoyed decorating homes and especially loved to put up the Christmas tree and decorations. Road trips to Great Falls Montana was the high light of her summer shopping sprees, spending time with her family and snapping up bargains.
She had a great sense of humour, loved to tell funny stories, enjoyed a laugh or two even at at her own expense.
Dorothy always said her greatest treasures were her two daughters Mary Lynn and (David Pedora) and Katherine. She also loved and cherished her grandson Tyler (Stephanie) Pedora.
She is loved, cherished and will be deeply missed by her family.
