Obituary for Ric (Donald Richard) Anderson

Donald Richard (Ric) Anderson was born in Calgary, AB 18 September 1956. Grew up in Calgary, spent his youth centered in Mayland Heights Baptist Church, played his trumpet in the Lions Club Band, worked his paper route, practiced tai kwan do, as well as playing community soccer.

Ric liked music very much. Ric was educated in Calgary, James Fowler High School, Berean Bible College and SAIT. Ric worked most of his life as a journey man appliance repair technician in Calgary and southern Alberta. Ric completed his journey through life in Lethbridge, AB until God called him home on 13 March 2020. Ric will be sadly missed by his immediate family of mom and dad, Gretchen and Andre Therrien of Redcliff, AB, sister Heather Rae and Stewart Tweedie of Calgary, sister Laurie Janine and Karl Guderyan, nephew Rueben, niece Bella of Nelson, BC and brother Neill Jeffrey of Kimberly, BC and Neill’s daughter Arah of Calgary.

Due to the current situation with the restrictions of group gatherings the family has decided to postpone a memorial service perhaps in September.
