Obituary for Denise Gail MacDonald
It is with extremely heavy hearts to announce the passing of our beloved Denise MacDonald on December 30, 2020 at her home in Calgary, AB at the age of 60. Denise was born on March 17, 1960 in Calgary, AB by her predeceased parents Denis and Sadie Lawrence, she is the youngest daughter among 4 siblings.
She will be lovingly missed by her children and their families, her kids Tanya MacDonald, Mark MacDonald (and wife Shiela MacDonald), her grandkids Ryan MacDonald and Stephanie MacDonald and specially her great grandkids Sophia, Gracie, Haeven and Izayah. Her siblings, Brian & Laurie Lawrence, Glen & Bonnie Lawrence and Denis & Lorraine Hallaby.
For Denise, family were always her priority, and she devoted years to raising them, and they kept her very busy and on her toes. She always loves cooking and baking for them. She was the glue to the family that keeps us together. She always makes sure that we are connected and communication is always there.
Denise is a type of person who is shy and quiet but once you get to know her, you will realize that she is also a silly and funny person who always plays jokes and pranks to people close to her. She is an amazing person that has the biggest heart who always put other’s needs before herself. She will be there at any given time to listen to every story you have without a single bit of judgement.
Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, a private Funeral Service will be held, limited to immediate family. A Celebration of Life and reception will be held for all family and friends whenever possible.
