As a coworker at ATCO, Denis always displayed the demeaner to get the job done and was always polite at all times.
During my time away from Atco I had the pleasure of dealing with him as a vendor for ATCO. Always a pleasure.
Then I had an opportunity to run an overseas project for ATCO as a contract assignment in the UAE for Iraq, and we hired Denis to join our team on the admin/PM side of the business and this was great because we know what we getting in Denis. He aided us in the successful completion of the project which was a tough one. US Airforce encampment and tough inspectors.
But we never left the UAE and stayed together in a hotel in Dubai and every night Denis kept the mood very light. We all had a good time. From there Denis went to work for one of the UAE development companies for the Palm Island . He did very well there for himself and we were friends with the family throughout our stay in the UAE.
Very sorry for it to end this way ,but feel much better for him now that he has passed.
Never did get out to Calgary in time.
Hopefully whenever the memorial we will able to travel.
To Susan and the kids, we say: We are sorry for your loss and know that you will all be strong at this time.
Our thoughts ae with all of you and your friends.
To Denis , I would say: I will miss you buddy! You were well thought of as we worked together. Rest in peace!

Denis was always active in our community events, especially with the Scouting group. He was always ready to pitch in, and, always with a joke and a smile. He was a great role model as he kept everyone laughing no matter what the task. He managed to keep us laughing even during his illness.
Denis was a caring individual. He cared about his friends and he truly cared for his family. To Susan, Nick, Alex, and Nathalie, and the rest of your family, I am sorry for your loss.
To Denis, it was a pleasure to have you as a friend. You will be missed. Au Revoir.

Denis always made it interesting for me when ever I went to process my camera film at London Drugs. I don’t know how many butt shots I got over the years! Susan, our thoughts and prayers are for you and your family
