Obituary for Deliver-Me-O-God Price
Always in our hearts,
Deliver-me-o-God Price
November 20 1999 - May 16 2021
Deliver-me-o-God was born in Calgary, Alberta to David and Valerie. He was the fourth son and 6th of seven siblings. He grew up on an acreage in Rocky View County. With the outdoors being his favorite place to be, he lived a very active life. From riding a bicycle or the lawnmower to operating the tractor; he enjoyed operating anything with a motor/wheels. Growing up riding ATVs, he later bought his own dirt bike. Constantly upgrading to a more powerful model as he outgrew and mastered the smaller ones. Wild Rose MX Track was a favorite of his and he’d often load up the bike and convince a friend or brother to join him for a ride. He thoroughly enjoyed motocross becoming quite skilled at handling jumps and the track. When he got his driver’s licence, he fast became involved with restoring his 2001 2nd Gen Cummins. He often said that his dream job was a heavy-duty equipment operator.
From a working holiday in Israel to the jungle of Nicaragua, he never turned down an opportunity to; as he said, ‘go somewhere’. He made several family and work road trips in the USA, Ontario, and British Columbia. And was always looking for an exciting new place to move to.
Having this way of saying what was on his mind, one knew where they stood with Deliver-me-o-God. He was always ready with a piece of advice and didn’t fail to tell one, his opinion. As a boy and throughout his life he attended weekly services at Beth Shechinah (House of Glory). Taking part in many celebrations, plays, classes, and events. As a believer in Yeshua, his recent desire was to be immersed.
He died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 16 2021. He is deeply missed by all immediate family as well as friends and extended family. He is survived by his maternal Grandmother, parents, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, cousins. His short life was a blessing to be part of by all those who knew him. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:9
A Burial Service will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Crossfield Cemetery.
