Deborah Violet Braye passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta with her family by her side at the age of 63.
Deborah was born in Botwood, NL on September 1, 1958. She was the daughter of John R. Butt and Violet Butt of Bishop's Falls, NL.
Deborah will be deeply missed by her beloved partner, Ernest Rand; her two children, Trevor Braye (Meg) and Tracey Braye (Bryn); her father, John R. Butt; brother, Arch Butt (Roberta); sister, Betty Guy (Gordon); and many nieces and nephews. Deborah was predeceased by her mother, Violet Butt and her brothers, Darren Butt and Johnny Butt.
Mom you will always hold a special place in our hearts, and we will always keep your memories alive. Those who know her as Nanny, her pride and joys, her grandchildren, William, Korbin, Brinnley, Rhyker and Bohdi will always hold a sepcial place in their hearts for their Nanny and will always remember the special times they had with you.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with and now you are our guardian angel watching over us.
