David Houghton
June 20th, 1940 - March 15th, 2020
David Houghton, beloved and devoted husband of Helen, passed away at home in Calgary, Alberta on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the age of 79 years.
He was the loving father of David (Leanne), Michael (Natalie), Ronald (Kelly), and Allen (Tracy). He was incredibly proud to be Papa to his grandchildren, Steven, Lauren, Emily, Elizabeth, and Meagan, who lovingly remember him for his support and encouragement. He is survived by his brothers Jesse (Jean) and Jack (Iris), and many nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his parents Jesse and Elizabeth, and his brother Jim.
David was liked by all who were touched by his smile, laughter and good nature, and he especially cherished the friendships he made while owning and managing the lottery booth at Calgary Co-op’s Village Square.
