Ohhh Davie crocket!!!! You were an awesome man. I loved you like a brother. I have a few memories to share of our beloved Dave.

My family and I live on Vancouver Island. Everytime we would leave the Island to come visit Dave Jen and Kearstyn he would say "now when you get off the boat you let me know" faithfully I would text and say WE MADE IT OFF THE BOAT!!!! to which he would reply "Welxome to Canada" hahaha oh it would make us giggle each time. He lovingly would joke and call me banana with my blonde hair :)

Camping at whispering pines was always an adventure. He loved his trailer. So excited he had satellite in it that he could plug into. I dont think we ever watched it though. We had so much fun together.

We came to Calgary one year. Always an adventure for all the kids. This time we were going to go to west Edmonton mall. We were driving a black dodge 3500 and Dave his beloved Ford truck. Well in the snow we made it to airdrie and our truck died out. Dave was soooo tickled pink that he just might get a chance to tow a dodge with his Ford. Bahahaha yep he aired did and the while world heard his excitement hahaha he hooked our truck up to his and towed it through airdrie to the dodge dealer. Dave got out of his truck and went inside and in his origional loud voice well guys look what a Ford dragged in. I guess this arguement is settled. Oh gosh did we ever laugh at that for awhile.

When we stayed with Dave jen and kearstyn everyday he would ask Tom if he wanted to go for a ride. That meant going to get more timmies :)

All the endless conversations on the side porch at their second home Dave and jen owned. He loved company and if you came to his place he treated you like family. You were his family.

I remember Dave and jen becoming parents. Dave was soooo proud. He loved his little girl beyond words. Loved taking her to school. Even when the school felt kearstyn could walk in the school herself could he wait outside. To which the papa bear came out and he replied she is MY daughter, if I want to walk her to her class I WILL. Nobody argued with him after.

It made Dave's heart happy to see others happy. He loved seeing kearstyn and the kids happy. He ALWAYS found a way to make things happen. He had the most generous heart anyone could have.

Teasing Dave that we hid corn in his dinner hahahaha he did NOT like corn one bit. The kids loved to tease him about it too.

Soo many memories I cant think of them all right now. Dave we are missing you so much. Wherever you are rest easy big guy. We love you soo much

Dave, you were my favourite customer for the couple years I knew you. Every single time I had a hard day or bad shift you always said some joke or made jokes about someone to cheer me up and it would make my day a whole lot better. You were the nicest customer I’ve ever had and will always be remembered by me. I didn’t realize how much you meant to me until I seen you in your casket today at your funeral. Thank you for being so nice to me and the rest of us at Tim’s. I hope you drink all the large double doubles you want in heaven. Rest in peace Dave, to my memory wall you go. My dearest condolences to your loving wife Jennifer and loving daughter Kearstyn and the rest of your beautiful family.
