Obituary for Dale Edward Adams
Dale Edward Adams
April 16th, 1957 - November 29th, 2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale E. Adams on Friday, November 29th, 2019 at the age of 62.
Dale will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Marissa Dela Cruz; son Shane (Tonia) Adams and their daughters Georgia and Alexa; son Ryan Adams (Tamara) and their son Quentin; step-sons Myrone Dela Cruz and Alexis Dela Cruz; mother Constance Adams; six brothers Charles (Kristi), Mark (Teena), Michael, Randy, Tony (Linda) and Timothy (Gisele); three sisters Cindy (Terry Jardine), Tammy (Dean Jones) and Shelly (Bradley) Lockhart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Dale was predeceased by his father Charles and sister Susan.
Dale grew up in Frosty Hollow, New Brunswick and moved to Calgary , where he raised his family. He retired from the City of Calgary where he worked for 29 years. Dale had many friends and made connections with people that lasted for a lifetime. He had a great sense of humour, was witty and fun-loving. Family was extremely important to Dale, and he always took the time to keep in touch with his family and enjoyed hosting big family dinners. He adored his grandchildren who referred to him as “Grandpapa”.
A private celebration of life will take place in Calgary. Burial will take place at a later date in Westcock Cemetery. Sackville, NB
