Obituary

Cole David Muenchrath
September 16, 1978 - February 2, 2020

Cole passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 2, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born and raised in Calgary. His childhood love of trucks and anything mechanical guided his career path from a Heavy-Duty Technician to Crane Operator. The friendship, care and support of everyone at Stampede Crane throughout his lengthy treatments cannot be measured.

Cole loved antiques, old cars, camping and fishing. His happiest times were spent with friends at car shows, cruising country roads or in antique stores & garage sales looking for treasures. He loved gardening and grew beautiful flowers.

Cole is survived by his parents, Gordon and Marjorie; big brother, Steven (Laura); nephews, Ryan and Daniel; loving sister, Kerry; best friend, Melissa and beloved dog, Molly. He has a large and caring extended family, many friends and co-workers who will dearly miss his sense of humour and quick wit.

Special thanks to Dr. Scot Dowden and his team for the special care they provided, helping Cole through his journey.

A Celebration of Cole’s Life will be held at a later date. To view and share photos, condolences and stories of Cole, please visit www.choicememorial.com.

Gordie, Marj, Steven and Kerry,

I am very sorry to hear about Cole. My thoughts are with all of you.

I have a lot of fond memories of growing up with Cole and I’ve been thinking about how great it was that he lived right across the street when we were younger. We had a lot of great times just hanging out or biking around the neighbourhood.

I hope that the all the happy memories you have of Cole bring you some comfort during this difficult time.
