Obituary for Clinton Brent Wolfe

WOLFE, Clinton Brent
December 28, 1990 - Calgary, Alberta
September 29, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta

It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Clinton B. Wolfe announce his sudden passing on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at 30 years of age.

Clinton will be forever cherished by his wife, Meghan Wolfe; his parents, Brent & Pam Wolfe; his sister, Dayna (Rob) and niece, Finley; his paternal grandfather David Wolfe and maternal grandparents, Gordon & Eunice Martin. Clinton will be lovingly remembered by his family-by-inclusion, Steve & Shirley Mahe; sisters Amy, Bonny (Jason) and Lisa; nephews and nieces Steven, Saydie, Cannon, Deklon, Layla, Paxton and Isaac.

Clinton was like sunshine to our life with his sweet smile and gentle nature. For those who knew him, a playful heart comes to mind and his presence filled the room. From an early age he was instilled with a great love for nature, fishing, hunting and building with his hands. He had a quick wit and contagious sense of humour. Clinton had a gift for making friends and so many were considered “family” to him.

In 2015, everything changed for Clinton when he met Meghan, hand picked into the family by their sisters. They were married on October 6, 2018. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Meghan with their dogs, Maverick and Angus. Their time together was invested in each other and they were two peas in a pod.

During his high school years, he received the opportunity to join the Registered Apprenticeship Program and began what would become a career spanning over a decade as an Electrician. It was fitting that in the last year he was blessed to be able to work as Project Manager on the completion of the Bearspaw Campus for Centre Street Church, his home church that helped build his faith in Christ.

His presence as husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend and coworker emanated light and joy wherever he went. Words are insufficient to express our joint loss of him at this time but we choose to look up and we place our hope and trust in Jesus Christ. We are confident that we will one day join Clinton where there are no more tears, no more pain, no more sorrow. Until that day comes, we will say that God is good.

Celebration Service of Clinton’s life will take place on Tuesday, October 12 at the Centre Street Church main campus (3900 2 Street NE, Calgary, AB) at 1:00pm by invitation only. In honour of Clint, we are asking guests to wear something that reminds them of Clint. Some ideas include jerseys, camouflage, anything with dinosaurs or tropical shirts.

Due to covid restrictions, we are unable to have an open guest list for the in-person celebration. It is our hope that you and the media will join us online using this link- cschurch.ca/wolfe

In lieu of flowers, we invite you to consider joining us in marking Clinton’s legacy by donating to the Calgary Zoo in his name towards a memorial bench alongside the wolf enclosure. Donations in memory can be made online at www.calgaryzoo.com using the “Donate Now” button and the phrase “Clinton’s Bench” in the message box, or call Michelle at (403) 232-7774 with a note of his name.
