Christian Aquart
April 4th, 1974 - Saturday, May 25th, 2019
The world has lost a truly exceptional man. Chris was the best friend you could ever have. He will be remembered for his generosity, sense of humour, charisma, fearlessness, and of course, his art.
Chris will be deeply missed by his two children, Chase Mustus, 25, of Edmonton, and Siarra Rabbe, 11, of Calgary; his spouse Tracey Rabbe; his adoptive parents Leigh and Vernon Aquart of Calgary; five siblings, and seven nieces and nephews; his birth mother Marlene Francois (Nest); four siblings, and ten nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his birth father Garry Ennow.
We are ever so grateful to our families and all our amazing friends near and far, the community of Inglewood, Cold Lake First Nation, Moonstone Creation, and our co-workers, past and present, for their love and support. Special thanks to the phenomenal nursing staff, Garth, and the doctors in Unit 47. To every single person at the Foothills Country Hospice where Chris spent his final days, I can’t thank you enough for the loving care and compassion you provided.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Lantern Church (1401 10th Avenue SE, Calgary) on Monday, June 3, 2019 at 4:00 pm. To follow, a Celebration of Chris’s Life will be held at the Inglewood Community Centre (1740 24 Ave SE, Calgary) from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
