August 18, 1955 - December 30, 2022
Chuck Waddell, beloved husband of Noel Waddell of Calgary passed away at home on Friday, December 30, 2022 at the age of 67 years.
He will be missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Christy Brausse (Darren), Julie Waddell and Cameron Waddell, all of Calgary, AB; grandchildren, Lexi Brausse and Lincoln Armey; siblings, Tom and Gisele as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Gabrielle and father, Graham.
Chuck was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, Papa and Tampa. He loved talking cars and working on cars with Cam, motorcycle rides with Julie, watching Flames games with Darren and watching X-Files with Christy. He especially loved watching movies with Nobie. As much as he loved his wife and children, his grandchildren, Lexi and Lincoln, were his true joy.
Chuck worked hard throughout his life. He had a long career with CP Rail and met many friends there. He also had a successful business and was a well-known machinist who took great pride in the motors he built.
He will be fondly remembered for pocket-snacks, popcorn, hidden stashes of jellybeans, poker games, gardening, playing cards, midnight driving lessons, alien conspiracies, after-church McDonalds, May-long weekend Calaway Park trips, camping trips, smores, fireworks at 12th Street and family dinners.
He will be missed so, so much.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 1:00 pm at St. Giles Presbyterian Church (1102 23 Ave NW, Calgary, AB T2M 1T7).
