Obituary for Chad Walter Poirier

Chad Walter Poirier
July 18, 1984- May 27, 2021

“I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun;
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.”

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle and friend. Chad had a heart of gold, the biggest smile on his face and the ability to walk into any room and light it up. He lived life on his own terms and made every day an adventure, those memories and stories will keep him alive in our hearts forever. Chad was a kid at heart, his playfulness kept everyone around him young, this was also the reason “Uncle Chad” was always a hit with his nieces and nephews. He had a love and unforgettable talent for all sports. Chad was the most generous man, he loved unconditionally and had a way of making everyone around him feel special, he truly was one of a kind. Chad you are loved and will be missed beyond words, rest easy.

Chad will be lovingly remembered by his father, Wally; step-mother Debbie; mother, Cathy; sisters, Robyn, Jodi, Linda (Mark) and Jenny (Ryan); brother, Jeff (Kathy); best friend Janice along with all his other family and friends.
