Carmen Gallegos Jiménez falleció el 1 de diciembre del 2020, en paz y en el calor de su hogar. Nació el 5 de diciembre de 1934 en Caracas, Venezuela. Hija de Juana Jiménez y Pedro Guillermo Gallegos y hermana de Ana, Aura, Guillermo y José Antonio Gallegos.
Vivió la mayor parte de su vida en Caracas, donde se dedicó incondicionalmente a su familia, así como a cultivar relaciones con muchísimas amistades. Carmen vivió una vida llena de simples placeres; le gustaba hablar con seres queridos, cocinar platos típicos venezolanos, hacer bellas manualidades, leer la prensa de principio a fin y reunirse a festejar cualquier ocasión. Tenía una gran habilidad de conectar con personas de manera sincera, positiva y llena de amor. En el 2017, se reubico en Calgary, Canadá para vivir con su hija.
Sus hijos Raquel y Cesar Diaz, su nieta Vanadis Oviedo, su yerno Jeff Rambharack, su bisnieto Samuel Rambharack, su sobrinos, familia y amigos ruegan una oración por su alma.

Carmen Gallegos Jimenez peacefully passed away on December 1st 2020 at the home in Calgary, Alberta. She was born on December 5th 1934 in Caracas, Venezuela. Carmen was predeceased by her parents Juana Jimenez and Pedro Guillermo Gallegos, and sisters of Ana and Aura Gallegos. Survived by her brothers Guillermo and Jose Antonio Gallegos.
She spent most of her life in Caracas and dedicated unconditionally to support her family,as well as nurturing long-lasting friendships. Camen lived a life full of simple pleasures: long chats with her loved ones, cook traditional Venezuelan dishes, share her love for crafting, read the newspaper from beginning to end, and gather with friends and family to celebrate any occasion. She had the ability to connect with people sincerely, positively and full of love. In 2017 she relocated to Calgary to live with the daughter.
Her children Raquel and Cesar Diaz, granddaughter Vanadis Oviedo, grandson-in-law Jeff Rambharack, great grandson Samuel Rambharack, nieces, nephews, family and friends pray for her eternal rest.
