Candace Johner
May 7, 1952 – April 10, 2022

Candace Johner, beloved wife of Theodore “Ted” Johner of Yuba City, CA, passed away at the Rockyview General Hospital on April 10, 2022 at the age of 69 years.

Candace will be dearly missed by her husband Ted; children Jeremy Barlow of Calgary, AB and Heather Barlow of Calgary, AB; Ted’s children Melissa “Missy” (Richard) McNeil of California and Rebecca “Becky” (Andy) Tull of California; grandsons Luther, Pierce and Ellis Barlow and Alex Van Runt; brother Clinton Gray; brother-in-law Mike Johner; sister-in-law Donna Price; Ted’s grandchildren Emily McNeil, Christopher McNeil, Ashley Johner (Parry Uptergrove), James K. “Jimmy” Campbell (fiancé Shy Shyy), Devin Campbell, Alyssa Shea O’Leary, Taylor Karissa O’Leary, Jason O’Leary, Nicole Tull and Tyler Tull; Ted’s great-grandchildren Alaia Rose Uptergrove and Ellianna Rose Campbell.

Candace was predeceased by her parents Gerald and Catherane Gray; brother-in-law James Johner; father-in-law Harry Elias Johner (Santo); mother-in-law Hattie “Esther” Rickerd; and step-father-in-law Jack M Rickerd.

In her professional career, Candace most significantly was a Geophysical Technician at Pan Canadian, and later was a caregiver for “Anne”. She enjoyed sewing, art and writing, and published a book called “Bus Stories”. She enjoyed the Writer’s Guild, ancestry, history, prophetic ministries and attended many churches but especially loved “The Garden”.
