Brian Willox, of Calgary, AB, passed away at the Foothills Hospital on April 1st, 2023 at the age of 80.
Brian Willox was born in Calgary on June 12, 1942. Brian’s parent raised him and his brother Wayne (Winnie) in the church community of Full Gospel Church, playing trumpet in the orchestra, and was involved in various other ministries throughout their childhood. Brian met Shelley Smith and they were married in 1967 in Calgary, Alberta. Their three children followed shortly after: Michelle, Chantelle and Chad. Brian had a successful auto body business for many years in Calgary. Brian will be greatly missed by his family and his church community of Foothills Alliance.
Brian is survived his children Michelle Belanger (Jason) of Cochrane, AB, Chantelle Carlson (Torie) of Cochrane, AB, and Chad Willox (Evie) of Golden, BC; he will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Nate, Owen, Matthew, Wyatt, Keely, Anna, Leland, Charley, Robie, Wren and Tanner.
Brian was predeceased by his wife Shelley, and brother Wayne Willox.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Foothills Alliance Church - 333 Edgepark Blvd NW, Calgary, AB T3A 4K4 - at 2:00 p.m.
