Obituary for Bonifacio Jerry Iuliani

Bonifacio Jerry Iuliani
April 12, 1963 – January 25, 2021

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bonifacio Jerry Iuliani on January 25, 2021. The most loving husband and father.

Bo fought a courageous battle against his early onset Alzheimer’s diagnosis. He was the kindest, loving and caring person to all who knew him. He would give anyone the shirt off his back. Bo graduated with a degree in business from Mount Royal University. He worked for many years at Ralston Purina. After leaving there he began working at Cyba Stevens and enjoyed the new challenges it brought. A few years later he decided it was time to fulfill his life-long dream of owning his own business along with his brother John (Rascals). Bo enjoyed playing many sports in his life especially hockey, golf, basketball, squash, ping pong, cards and fishing. Above all he loved travelling with Josie and I on our yearly trips to Las Vegas.

Bonifacio (Jerry) is survived by his loving wife MaryLee and the joy of his life Josie; his brother John (Carey) Iuliani; his uncle Amedeo Iuliani (Sylvia); his aunts Marianna Maione, Maria Santillo, and Eufemia Tiberio; many cousins; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Luigi and Domenica Colombo; his brother-in-law Tony (Angela) Colombo; two nephews Luigi and Domenic Colombo; and his brother-in-law Victor Colombo.

Bonifacio (Jerry) was predeceased by his parents Angelo and Giuseppina Iuliani; his grandparents Bonifacio and Loretta Iuliani and Sebastiano and Addolorata Tiberio; as well as his uncles Tony Tiberio, Carmen Santillo and Antonio Maione . Many thanks to the staff at both Peter Lougheed and Rockyview Hospitals for their care. Thank you also to the staff on Unit 47 at the Rockyview where Bo spent three and a half years for their kindness. Special thanks to the amazing staff at Southwood Care Centre for all of their compassionate care over the last four years. Many thanks also to Tony and Vivienne Allen for visiting him almost on a daily basis and being such a support system for us.

A private family Funeral Mass, due to COVID restrictions, will be held at St. Michael Catholic Community on Wednesday , February 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada (www. alzheimer.ca).
