Billi Louise Olver
March 21, 1995 - May 25, 2021
Billi Olver, beloved wife of Ian Howe of Calgary, passed away tragically on May 25th, 2021 at the age of 26 years. She was the loving daughter of R. Sal Olver and Maggie Heintzman as well as a loving sister to Angela (Will) Farquhar, Rob Olver and Melissa Rowson. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephew, Mackenzie, Alexandra, Analise, Kadin, Tyrell and Ember. Also, by her many cousins, aunts, uncles and amazing, like-minded friends. The Howe family embraced and loved Billi and they will miss her dearly.
Billi was born in Calgary to a loving family. She graduated from Bowness High School and worked her way to a position that she loved with David’s Bridal. Billi recently started a new journey with the National Bank as a Cash Sales Rep. Her ambition and artistic skills led her to start a small home business, creating and sewing fun garments and anything else her imagination could find to challenge her. Her family and friends revelled in owning her personal art. Though faced with an MS diagnosis, Billi was never defeated. Ian encouraged her love of mountain hiking, and introduced her to the joy of fishing, wildlife photography, and the art of keeping fish tanks. Billi and Ian also enjoyed creating memories while playing Pokemon Go. Billi had just discovered the pleasures of house plants and was well on her way to creating her own mini jungle. Billi’s loved ones might describe her as being quirky, fun, adventurous, mischievous, brave, cute, optimistic, determined, and, above all, as having chaotic goblin energy!
In honour of Billi’s loving and giving nature, several of her organs were donated to save others and we can only hope this has provided a new lease on life for those recipients. Billi’s beautiful heart beats on.
A Private Memorial will be held with her closest friends and family.
