Betty Andersen

Betty Andersen passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the age of 84 years.
She is remembered by her daughter Pat (Bob), grandson Bobby (Jennifer), and great-grandchildren Isabella, Claire, and William. She also leaves behind nieces Joanne (Bob), Diane (Darcy), Cory, and nephews Neal (Cory), Steve (Lia).
Betty was predeceased by her siblings Ab, Burt, and Dot.
Betty loved being a nurse and cherished her time caring for patients on Unit 57 at Foothills Hospital. Gardening, sewing and caring for her cats kept her busy when she was not traveling. Pat and Bob are grateful for the many years they had caring for her, and she will be greatly missed. It was Betty's wish that no service be held.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the staff at Evanston Grand Village and Foothills Unit 46 for their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
