Beryl Love (nee, Murphy) age 85, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 8:50 p.m. at Extendicare Hillcrest in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Beryl is survived by her children; Daniel Love of Calgary, AB his wife Jin; Timothy Love of Dawson Creek, BC his wife Debbie; Donald Love of Tokyo; daughter-in-law Carol; Shirley Love Rayburn of Pasadena and her husband Matthew; her grandchildren, Stephen, Sophia; Jamie, Tyler (Charlene), Melissa (Kurtis); Andrew, Jonathan, Joel, Emily; Adia, and Destiny; and Beryl’s great grandchildren, Bennett, Gavin, McKinley and Ophelia.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Charles Harrower Murphy and Mary Anne Murphy; her brothers, Charles Murphy, and Donald Murphy; and her sister, Janette Murphy.
Beryl was born on February 20, 1935 in Inverness, Scotland. She immigrated to Canada on December 28, 1951 eventually settling in Calgary, AB.
Beryl married Walter Leslie Love in 1958 and the couple had four children together.
She was a woman of strong faith, lover of Jesus. She was a loving mother, a stay-at-home mom for her children’s growing years. She was a dynamic storyteller, the gift was enjoyed in various congregations she ministered in.
A Memorial Service for immediate family to celebrate Beryl’s life is scheduled at Choice Memorial with a reception to follow. Pastor Ray Matheson will officiate.
