1956 – 2022
We sadly announce the passing of Bernie Robillard on Christmas morning, Sunday, December 25, 2022.
He will be sorely missed by his wife of 38 years, Janet; daughter, Jeanee; sister, Linda (Karl) Chetkowski; sister-in-law, Leslie (Wim) Vanderwaal; niece Tara; nephews, Mark and Glen; as well as many other family and friends. He was predeceased by his father in 1967 and his mother in 2001.
Bernie was born April 30, 1956 in Halifax, NS to Jean Robillard and Yvette Dubois. Bernie and Janet met in Lasalle, QC and then moved to Calgary in late 1980. Bernie worked for the City of Calgary from 1981 – 1987. He then moved on and worked in construction for 35 years. He was well-respected by his work colleagues.
